What’s gold vermeil?

Gold vermeil is a high-quality type of gold jewelry that has a thick layer of gold plating.  I use a thickness of approximately 2.5 mic gold layered over brass for Phem Beauty rings, which is five times thicker than the average gold plating and far more durable.

What size should I order?

Rings with thinner bands tend to run a bit larger, whereas thicker rings have a snugger fit. The more metal around your finger, the more space it takes up and the tighter it fits. Before ordering, I recommend printing our ring sizing guide to find your fit. If you can’t access a printer, I’ll mail you a size guide. Request a printout at hello@phembeauty.com.

How do I clean/care for my Phem Beauty ring?

For Gold Vermeil Rings:

Remove product from your mixing tray ring as soon as possible using a soft, non-abrasive cloth and warm water. If you need something “stronger” to remove cosmetic, use a mild detergent, soft cloth, and warm water, then blot dry with a soft cloth.

To keep your Phem vermeil ring extra shiny, keep it in a plastic bag. (Make sure it is 100% dry.) Each ring is shipped in a plastic bag, which can double as its storage bag. Remove the excess air by squeezing it, and seal it. The lack of oxygen in the bag will help keep your Phem Beauty ring bright and shiny. A Phem Beauty ring likes to have her own bag so she doesn’t get scratched.

For Sterling Silver Rings:

Remove product from your mixing tray ring as soon as possible using a soft, non-abrasive cloth and warm water. If you need something “stronger” to remove cosmetic, use a mild detergent, soft cloth, and warm water, then blot dry with soft cloth. To polish, the BLUE Sunshine® Cloth maintains shine nicely. This sterling silver ring must be absolutely dry before storing, or it may prematurely tarnish. If that happens, and you want the shine back, it’s time to get out the polishing cloth.

Do you offer repairs?  

Currently, I cannot provide repair services for our Phem Beauty makeup mixing rings.

All Phem Beauty Rings are made in downtown Los Angeles.
